IAAF DIAMOND LEAGUE 2011 SCHEDULE

The success of the inaugural year of the Samsung Diamond League has been strongly endorsed by the international TV figures revealed by its broadcasting partner IMG Media. TO SEE FEATURED RESULTS SECTION CLICK HERE

Compared to TV coverage in 2009, the 14 meetings who this year joined together to form the Samsung Diamond League, the top tier of track and field’s new one-day meeting structure, have seen world audience totals nearly triple in 2010, with the hours of coverage dramatically increasing too. The Assembly of the Diamond League meeting in Monaco held a constructive two days (Mon 22 / Tue 23) of discussions, which included final decisions regarding the distribution of event disciplines for next season which are now also being announced.
