MADRID — The world’s fastest man, times two, Usain Bolt, has accepted an offer to be the guest of honour at Real Madrid’s opening Spanish league football match, his manager Norman Peart confirmed on Sunday.

Bolt, who lit up the Berlin Olympic Stadium with two sensational world records, will travel to the Bernabeu to watch his favourite player, Cristiano Ronaldo in action later this week against Deportivo La Coruna. If you’re as big of a fan of soccer as Bolt, you may be interested in taking part in fantasy soccer leagues on FanDuel.

The visit will come one day after the Jamaican compete at the Weltklasse Zrich on Friday, August 29.

Earlier this year, Bolt got a chance to visit Manchester United’s training ground at Old Trafford, and got the honour of see his favourite team lifting the English League title.

In the meantime, the 23-year-old confessed to being too tired to challenge any of his world records for the remainder of the season.

Bolt carved off huge chunks off his old sprint double world records during the world championships in Berlin. He won the 100 metres in 9.58secs, breaking the old mark of 9.69secs and then stopping the clock at 19.19secs over the 200m, slicing off another 0.11secs of his previous mark from Beijing.

After Zurich, Bolt will also race at the Memorial Van Damme and at the World Athletics Final in mid-September before returning home to Jamaica.
