Americans Richardson, Trammell lead 110m field for Donovan Bailey invite

A star-studded field has been assembled in the men’s 110m hurdles event for the upcoming Donovan Bailey Invitational.

Leading the way are Americans Jason Richardson and Terrence Trammell.

Richardson, the World Championships gold medallist in Daegu, last year, has been in good form this season and has a year quickest time of 13.16 seconds, set recently when finishing third in Shanghai at the Diamond League meeting behind Xiang Liu and David Oliver.

Trammell, the 2004 Olympic silver medallist and indoor champion in 2001 and 2006, respectively, has an outdoor seasonal best of 13.36secs.

Also including in the field are USA’s Dexter Faulk, who has a 13.23secs 2012 seasonal best, Joel Brown (13.30, USA) and Jamaican Richard Phillips.

Ingvar Mosely and Damain Warner are the Canadian athletes entered in the event.

Earlier this season, world champion Yohan Blake of Jamaica, Priscilla Lopes-Schliep of Canada and Walter Dix of the United States – announced that they will be taking part at the meeting.
