IAAF World U20 Championships Medal Table: Day 2

BYDGOSZCZ, Poland – The updated medal standing after two days of competition at the 2016 IAAF World U20 Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland.

Germany currently heads the group of already decorated nations with three medals, which included two golds and bronze.

Of those three medals, two were won by women, with the other coming on the men’s side.

Poland comes next with two gold medals, following victories in the field events, with China following with one gold and a silver medal – both coming on the women’s side.

The United States have three medals, including gold in the U20 men’s 100m where Noah Lyles dominated his challengers in the final on Wednesday’s Day Two action.

Nineteen countries have already secured at least one medal at IAAF World U20 Championships Bydgoszcz 2016 so far, with six of them winning two or more medals.

Germany, China and Ethiopia have won the most medals on the women’s side with two, while on the men’s side, the U.S. secured two.
