How To Watch, Follow Exciting Texas Tech Invitational: Jan 29-30

LUBBOCK, Texas – Fans looking to follow live streaming coverage of the Texas Tech Invitational on January 29-3 can watch the action on Big 12 Now on ESPN+. Live and updated results will also be available at live results here.

A total of nine schools will battle in Lubbock, Texas, in what is expected to be a very competitive weekend of track & field. Besides the host Texas Tech, the meet will also feature athletes from Big 12 competitors Baylor, Kansas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and TCU. A strong group of non-conference travelers will be highlighted by Texas A&M, Arizona, and Arizona State.

“We’ve got almost everybody from the conference,” said Red Raiders coach Wes Kittley. “And of the three meets so far, we’ll have more people competing for us than we have had. We’ll be at full strength, and it’s going to be a great competition.”

Action will begin at Noon ET on Friday with the men’s Heptathlon with the women’s Pentathlon going off 20 minutes later. The open events in the field get going at 4:30 p.m. with the women’s weight throw final, with the men’s equivalent slated for 6:00.

The women’s pole vault, women’s triple jump, and men’s triple jump are also among the list of field event competition scheduled for Friday’s first day.

Track events get going at 6:00 pm with the first round of the women’s 60m hurdles, while the opening rounds of the 60m dash will begin at 6:20.

The first-day coverage concludes with the women’s and men’s 5,000m events. The women’s race is slated for 8:30 p.m. and the men’s race starts at 8:55.

Saturday’s competition begins at with the multi-events 11:00 a.m. with the women’s 600 yard run leading off the track events at 2:00.

The women’s and men’s 4x400m relays will close out the meet’s schedule on Saturday.
