The following is a list of selected track and field meetings taking place around the globe this coming weekend, including several highlighted events on the college and professional circuits.
Among the list of meetings slated for this weekend is the American Track League Meeting #2 – World Athletics Indoor Tour – which will take place at the Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, AR on Sunday, January 31. Last Sunday’s opening meeting featured a world indoor record, along with several world-leading performances and personal bests and I am expecting much of the same this coming weekend.
The second meet in this series will be televised live on ESPN and streamed live on WatchESPN and the ESPN App.
Prior to that, Arkansas will also host the Razorback Invitational on January 29-30, where a number of the country’s top college athletes scheduled to feature.
Meanwhile, other World Athletics Indoor Tour meetings taking place this coming weekend are the Indoor Meeting – Karlsruhe and the ISTAF Indoor Düsseldorf, which are set for Friday, Jan. 29 and Sunday, Jan. 31.
The Texas Tech Invitational and Houston Invitational, on Jan. 29-30, as well as the Louisiana Invitational on Jan. 29, are among the top college list of indoor meetings taking place this weekend.
The Big Ten Cross Country Championships on Jan. 30 is also on the list of events taking place this weekend.
