Great Britain and N.I’s newly crowned world champions heptathlete Jessica Ennis and triple jumper Phillips Idowu will join a battery of Berlin medallists at the British Grand Prix in Gateshead on 31 August.

Ennis, the European Athletics Rising Star for 2007, established herself as one of the best multi-eventers of recent times winning the Heptathlon gold by an incredible 238 points; the third largest winning margin in World Championship history.
