Jessica Ennis is relishing the opportunity of challenging for heptathlon gold at the World Championships in Berlin this weekend.

Ennis was tipped to be a serious challenger for Olympic gold last year but a fractured right foot put paid to her chances in Beijing.

But the 23-year-old Sheffield star showed steely determination in fighting back from the injury which at one stage threatened her career.

"For me it’s just great to be in this position after what happened last year," Ennis said. "It’s a nice pressure to have and I’m really looking forward to being back on the world stage.
