Michael Johnson critical of IAAF over Semenya

BERLIN — American Five-time Olympic champion Michael Johnson has criticized the sport governing body, the International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) for the way it handled the case of new world 800m champion Caster Semenya, after she has been asked to take a gender test.

Semenya destroyed a world-class field to win the women’s race at the world championships in Berlin this week, but her celebrations has been spoiled by the news of the testing, something Johnson has questioned….See Video

    Ordinary people can’t break records.
    They must differ from the other sportsmen. But nobody is going to test Bolt’s or Isinbaeva’ blood.
    Journalists did their best to turn the happiest day in the girl’s life into the nightmare. Everyone will forget this incident the following day. Only one person will remember it for the rest of her life.
