  1. i am not a medical doctor but i did have a premontion for lack of a better word that this young lady was both male and female. it is a very unfortunate situation , i am very sorry to hear about this and my heart goes out to miss semenya and her family, i do wish her the best going forward as far as her health is concerned. i sincerely believe that both miss semenya and her family felt she was 100 per cent female. i knew someone like this who came from the caribbean and it was very embarrasing for this person to live a normal life. god bless you my child.

  2. Honestly, there should not be a backlash against this woman! It does appear that the lack of a womb or ovaries make her more male, but in the end it’s her decision how she plans to live her life! I understand her not being able to participate any longer in the sport! People need to understand that her culture amongst many others cultures of African descent see her as a freak, monster, or a curse! She and her family could have been ostracized, shamed, and shunned for what many people just don’t understand! It doesn’t appear any malice was involved and she really just needs a lot of empathy and support as she goes through a very private matter in a very public way!
