Toroitich heads Ugandan squad for World Half Marathon

Martin Kityo Toroitich who was a member of Uganda’s bronze medal winning team at the 2004 World Half Marathon Championships in New Delhi leads his country’s assault for honours at next month’s IAAF / EDF Energy World Half Marathon Championships in Birmingham, UK on Sunday 11 October.

Toroitich, the elder brother of reigning 10,000m Commonwealth champion Boniface Kiprop has participated in three previous editions (2002 / 03 / 04) of the World Half Marathon with his last appearance performance being a 13th place finish in 2004 in New Delhi, when Uganda took the team bronze medal….Read More
