Distance runner Craig Mottram will make his return from long-term injury to compete for the Australian team at the Chiba Ekiden relay in Japan next month, according to Athletics Australia.
It will be the Commonwealth Games 5000m silver medallist’s first competition since last November?s Great Australian Run in Melbourne and his first international appearance since the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
