World Championship 100m hurdles champion Brigitte Foster-Hylton has won the 2009 Courtney Walsh Award for Excellence winner.
Foster-Hylton, who in August, won her first global title and ended the season with seven straight victories, topped a strong four-member field for the award on Wednesday night at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel.
The Jamaican national record holder over the sprint obstacle walked away with a crystal trophy along with cash prize, presented to her by Prime Minister Bruce Golding.
