Triple Jump star Momchil Karailiev was presented with the Bulgarian Athlete of the Year award at a glittering ceremony organised by the Bulgarian Athletics Federation in Sofia last week.

The 27-year-old Karailiev enjoyed a great outdoor season during the year, reaching the men’s Triple Jump final at the IAAF World Championships in Athletics in Berlin and claiming a bronze medal at the World Athletics Final in Thessaloníki, Greece.
