Sprint ace Veronica Campbell-Brown won the women’s 60-meter dash in 7.15 seconds at the Tyson Invitational Friday night at the University of Arkansas.
The three-time Olympic gold medalist from Jamaica ran the 10th-fastest time in the world this year and earned her first indoor victory of the season.
Campbell-Brown, an Arkansas alum, ran the event for the second time this season after finishing second to American Lisa Barber in the 60 last week at the Millrose Games in New York.
She is competing in the event for the first time since 2006, when she set the Tyson Invitational record.
American Michael Roger won the men’s race in 6.56secs, beating Jamaica’s Dexter Lee, who posted 6.66.

Dear Mickey, i,m not in any way trying to discourage you from writing or slinging your dirt…..all are welcome…because we certainly would not enjoy everybody having the same opinion…but in the same breath….don,t sling your dirt at people who don,t deserve it.

Tony don’t apologize. I think everyone has had disagreements over issues on this board but there is a difference between adults disagreeing over points-of-views and hate-mongering. If I wanted to deal with hatefilled xenophobes spewing pure nonsense and distorting the truth, I would turn on Fox News. So please don’t apologize, especially since what you said was true.

Hey Mickey, you took a two weeks break to write one sentence, good goings.
And by the way, i don’t think there is a comparison between Jamaica and the great USA when it comes down to things of this nature.
Have you seen or heard the news lately? Several others rats have been discovered and eliminated from competition in the great USA. What else have you got? Nada, quit your hating and find a nice quiet place to cry. Good night.

lol angela he has to think very carefully to write that one sentence and remember the internet provider is charging him for ever letter which he types so he is very limited. besides you dont know if he is off his meds long enough to write this one sentence he is in a state of depression of how well we are doing
