Reigning European champions Verena Sailer and Christian Rief of Germany will take park in the BW-Bank Meeting in Karlsruhe, Germany on 13 February, organizers confirmed on Tuesday.
The event will be the fifth IAAF Indoor Permit Meeting of the new year.
Sailer, won the women’s 100 metres at the European Championships in Barcelona last summer – improving her personal best 11.10 in the process.
The 25-year-old is also the reigning continental indoor 60m bronze medallist, and is expected to start as one of the medal favourites at the European indoor championships in Paris later this winter.
Meanwhile, Reif won the gold medal in the men’s Long Jump in Barcelona with a mark of 8.47m.
He finished the 2010 season with the farthest jump in the world – one centimetres more than Dwight Phillips.
Reif, 26, has a career indoor best of 8.10m and will be hoping to improve that mark in 2011.
