Christian Cantwell and Lolo Jones To Compete In Dusseldorf

Americans and reigning World Indoor champions Christian Cantwell and Lolo Jones will compete at the PSD Bank Meeting in Dusseldorf on 11 February, organisers confirmed.

Cantwell, who also won the IAAF World Championships gold medal in Berlin in 2009, will take on German Ralf Bartels.

Bartels, the world bronze behind Cantwell also won a bronze at the World Indoor Championships in Doha last year.

Meanwhile, Jones, who won back-to-back World indoor titles in 2008 and 2010, has set a date with Canadian former world champion Perdita Felicien, who finished behind her at the World indoors last March.

The programme will also include World 110m Hurdles record holder and Olympic champion Dayron Robles of Cuba in the 60m Hurdles, a 5000m showdown between Kenyans Paul Kipsiele Koech and Daniel Kipchirchir Komen, and Germany’s Raphael Holzdeppe, a former World junior champion, in the Pole Vault.

Two hours of the meeting will be broadcast live on Eurosport beginning at 19:30 CET.
