Three-time World 200m champion Allyson Felix is still undecided about whether or not she will run a 200/400 double at the US nationals later this summer.

Three-time World 200m champion Allyson Felix is still undecided about whether or not she will run a 200/400 double at the US nationals later this summer.

Felix, who opted to not compete in the current indoor season, has revealed that her training is going well and is looking forward to stepping things up another gear.

“My training is continuing to go well, the American said in her online diary on the IAAF website. “I’m really happy with where I’m at during this part of the year.

“This year we have incorporated long runs into our training which I have noticed has been really beneficial. I’m looking forward to the next phase of training.”

She added: “I’m monitoring my training to see how it is going to see if I can run competitively the 400m along with the 200m. I’ll continue to train and see how things go before I make a final decision about Nationals.

“But I know that I will run 400s during the year regardless.”
