The one thing that seems to be clear about the men’s high hurdles is that it’s not clear who will take the gold medal in Daegu. More likely than not, it will be one of the current big three – 2011’s fastest David Oliver, 2004 Olympic and 2007 World champion Liu Xiang or Beijing Olympic champion and current World record holder Dayron Robles – but which one, well that remains a mystery.

Though there have not been as many head-to-head clashes between the three as we are used to in the hurdles, in what meetings there have been the wins have been shared around.
