USA Olympic Gold Medal Winner Dick Fosbury Joins Schulte Sports Marketing & Public Relation’s Roster of Clients

Woodstock, MD – Schulte Sports Marketing & Public Relations, Inc. announced today that 1968 USA Olympic Gold Medal winner Dick Fosbury will join its current roster of clients for marketing, licensing, endorsements, corporate appearances and public relations effective immediately.

As a high school athlete in Medford, Oregon, Dick Fosbury revolutionized the high jump when he developed an innovative technique that quickly became known as “The Fosbury Flop.” His “back-first” approach has been the universal technique used by elite high jumpers since.

Fosbury won the Gold Medal at the Mexico City Olympic Games by clearing the bar at 7’4 1/4″ breaking Olympic and American records. He turned professional in 1973 and joined the International Track Association (ITA).

Dick was elected to the USA Track and Field Hall of Fame in 1981, and then inducted into the US Olympic Hall of Fame in 1992.
