KINGSTON, Jamaica (Sporting Alert) — Edwin Allen and Kingston College head into Day 4 of the “Jamaica Boys and Girls High School Champs 2013” with the lead on Friday after three solid days of competition.

Coming into Thursday’s action Edwin Allen tallied 30 points from just finals, and the defending champions moved to 61pts, to move ahead of St. Jago High (32), Holmwood Technical (31), Vere Technical High (21) and Manchester High (17).
On the boys side, Kingston College 57 are the front runners and they will be hoping to add to their tally on the fourth day, with Jamaica College on 50pts, currently sits in second and defending champions Calabar High School, third with 42pts.
The top five teams are completed by Wolmers Boys School with 26pts and St. Jago High with 15.
There are some exciting races on the schedule for Friday, including all the action in the 100m, 400m and 400m hurdles.
In the field, the Javelin open, boys class 1 Shot Put and girls triple jump are some of the highlighted events.
