The lists were calculated according to the rules of the All-Athletics.com Overall Rankings.

In the men’s list Ashton Eaton is followed by Christian Taylor who produced an incredible last attempt in the Triple Jump and his score is just one point more than Usain Bolt’s 200m one. Bolt appears three times in the top-6, as his 100m performance is ranked 5th and he was part of the gold medal winner Jamaican 4x100m relay team which produced the 6th highest score of the recent World Championships.

South Africa’s new world 400m champion Wayde van Niekerk is listed 4th in this very prestigious company.

Two Kenyan Athletes are in the Top-10, but none in the country’s regular events, as neither Julius Yego (Javelin Throw) nor Nicholas Bett (400m Hurdles) compete in Kenya’s traditional athletic disciplines, the middle and long distances.

The only European in the male top-10 is the 110m Hurdles gold medallist, Russia’s Sergey Shubenkov.

Dafne Schippers of the Netherlands was not only winner of an extremely high level 200m final, but also produced the highest score of the whole championships among the female Athletes. She is followed by the Jamaican sprint quartet and Poland’s hammer throw queen, Anita Włodarczyk.

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce of Jamaica (100m), Cuba’s discus gold medallist Denia Caballero and Allyson Felix of the USA (400m) complete the top six in the women’s list.
