The IAAF Diamond League resumes in Zurich on Thursday and you can watch live streaming coverage on beIn Sports Connect.

The meeting will see 20 individual world champions taking part, with several matchups from Beijing, set to continue.

One of the highlighted rematch from the world championships is set to come in the men’s 400m, where South Africa’s world champion Wayde van Niekerk, who raced away from the favourites to run a sparkling 43.48 seconds – the fourth on the world all-time list – meeting American LaShawn Merritt and Grenada’s Kirani James again.

The women’s 3,000m will see three individual gold medal winners from Beijing, testing themselves in a different event.

Genzebe Dibaba of Ethiopia who secured the gold medal in the 1500m, 5000m champion Almaz Ayana, who is also from Ethiopia and Kenya’s 10,000m winner Vivian Cheruiyot headline the list of starters in the 3,000m.

Also done to participate in Zurich on Thursday are USA’s Tianna Bartoletta, the world champion in the women’s long jump, Great Britain’s Greg Rutherford, who took gold in the men’s event, triple jump winner Christian Taylor will switch to the men’s long jump, while Jamaica’s Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and the Czech Republic’s Zuzana Hejnova are also down to compete in the women’s 100m and 400m, respectively.

Fraser-Pryce said she is hoping to continue her good form from the world championships as she seeks to run a personal best in Zurich.

The three-time world champion over 100m owns a personal best of 10.70 seconds in the event, which was set back in 2012.

“I am looking forward to running a personal best, and hopefully I can do it here,” she said.
