The meeting, which has always attracted several world-class athletes since its first organized event in 2004, has once again put together a very strong group this year, despite the likes of Usain Bolt and Yohan Blake, the country’s two fastest male sprinters over the 100m and 200m, not available.

Early action on Saturday begins at 2:00 pm local time with the international Hammer Throw for women, with the International Javelin for men going off at 4:15 pm.
