This year’s championships took place at the LaVern Gibson Championship Course in Terre Haute, Indiana and Patrick Holleran and Shannon Digital Imaging captured some the action and were willing to share.
Oregon University women and Northern Arizona University men were crowned NCAA cross country national champions,
While, the NAU Lumberjacks went all the way win the men’s title, the Colorado women’s program, which entered the championships as the overwhelming favourite, was stunned by the Oregon Ducks who scored 125 points to win the title – their fourth NCAA cross country title, adding to the 1983, 1987 and 2012 crowns.
Michigan was second on the women’s side with 126 points, while Colorado finished third with 134 points.
On the men’s side Northern Arizona scored 125 points to win the title, with Stanford finishing second with 158 points and Syracuse third with 164.
