DES MOINES, Iowa — Watch live streaming coverage of Day 1 of the 2019 Toyota USATF Outdoor Championships that will take place from Thursday 25 July 25 to Sunday 28 July in Des Moines, Iowa.

Competition on Thursday’s opening day will include two track finals and three in the field events.

On the track to close out the day, the men and women competing for the 10,000m run will aim to book respective team places for the IAAF World Championships in Doha, later this year.

On the male side, the likes of Kirubel Erassa, Leonard Korir and Reid Buchanan will start among the front runners to win the title, while Emily Sisson, Molly Huddle and Sarah Pagano starting among the top contenders for the women’s crown.

Meanwhile, the men’s Discus Throw and women’s Javelin Throw and Triple Jump competitions are the finals scheduled to take place in the field.

In terms of preliminaries, the women’s and men’s 100m and 400m heats will go off on the first day, along with the opening races in the men’s and women’s 800m.

Sha’Carri Richardson, Teahna Daniels, Twanisha Terry and Aleia Hobbs will lead the strong list of young sprinters in the women’s 100m today, while it will be Justin Gatlin against a list of youngsters, such as world-leader Christian Coleman and Cameron Burrell.

Inform Noah Lyles, the second-fastest man over the 100m this season, has opted to run just the 200m at these championships.
