A pair of world indoor records are among the highlighted world-leading times so far. Just last weekend at the American Track League Meeting #1, American Ryan Crouser heaved 22.82m to smashed the men’s shot put world indoor record on his way to winning the event on Sunday.

The other world record performance thus far came in the men’s triple jump after Hugues Fabrice Zango from Burkina Faso broke the previous record set by his current coach Teddy Tamgho 10 years ago with an effort of 18.07 meters on his sixth and final attempt.  He added 15 centimeters to the previous record when improving the old mark at a meeting in France on Jan. 16.
