Multi-talented sprinter Matthew Boling is set to feature in the long jump at the two-day Tiger Paw Invitational that will be hosted by Clemson University at the Clemson University Indoor Complex on Friday and Saturday.
Boling, who has made impressive appearances already this season in the 60m, 200m, and 400m, will compete in the long jump for the second time this season.
The standout sophomore cut the sand at 7.47m (24-06.25) in his last outdoor at this same venue during the 2021 Clemson Invitational last month and he will be hoping to improve on that performance in the second outing.
Boling has an indoor long jump personal best of 7.50m, but has jumped 8.01m outdoors.
The Bulldogs revealed that Boling will line in the long jump at 3 p.m and will be the only Georgia representative competing at the meet on Friday.
On Saturday, Boling will join up with Elija Godwin, Caleb Cavanaugh, and Delano Dunkley to compete in the men’s 4x400m relay.
Duke, Virginia Tech, Kentucky and North Carolina are also in the field.
