MADRID, Spain — The following are the elite fields and how to watch the 2022 Rock ‘n’ Roll Madrid Marathon on Sunday, 24 April. The event is part of the 2022 World Athletics Label Road Races and you can watch it live on TeleDeporte.

In the men’s elite field, Ethiopia’s Dadi Gemeda leads the group of runners who are entered with PB faster than 2:07 for the marathon.

Gemeda comes in with a lifetime best of 2:05:41, while Kenya’s Mark Kiptoo has a PB time of 2:06:00, Zewudu Bekele (2:06:31), Stephen Kiprotich (2:06:33), Shumi Leche (2:06:43) and John Langat (2:06:43).

The men’s race should be a close one on Sunday.

On the women’s side, the field is headed by Worknesh Alemu of Ethiopia who comes in with a time of 2:24:42 and will start as the favorite to win the title.

Zinash Getachew comes in with a best time of 2:27:15, while Obse Deme is entered with 2:27:47.
