Watch several of Jamaica’s young talents in action today at the 2023 Central Hurdles, Relays, Jumps & Throws meet at the G C Foster College of Physical Education and Sport in St Catherine. Among the top athletes slated for action is reigning world Under-20 100m champion Tina Clayton.

Clayton, who turned professional at the end of last season, is slated to open her career as a pro today when she competes in the women’s 400m at the meeting. Fans can watch live streaming coverage of the event on the TrackAlert YouTube Channel, starting at 10:30 am ET.

The standout junior sprinter, who is being coached by Stephen Francis at the MVP Track and Field Club in Kingston, will be joined in today’s 400m event by her twin sister Tia, who is also part of the MVP track club setup.

The event will also include Tia and Tina MVP training partners Krystal Sloley and Grizell Scarlett.

Ashley Williams is scheduled to race in the women’s 200m, along with Olympic 400m hurdles bronze medallist Kaliese Spencer, Tovea Jenkins, Akrisa Eristee, and Trishauna Matthews.

Talented young sprinter Bryan Levell of Edwin Allen is set to star in the men’s 200m where he is slated to take on the likes of MVP sprinter Tevin Allen, and G C Foster College sprinters Andrae Dacres, and Earl Simmons.
