How to watch the 2023 Cougar Classic and 2023 Washington Preview meets?

The action at the Ducks’ season opener at the Cougar Classic will start at 12:00 pm ET with the men’s high jump, with the action on the track starting at 2:00 pm ET with the Women 60 Meter Hurdles preliminaries.

Leading the Oregon sprint entries in Spokane will be Micah Williams and Jadyn Mays. Williams won the 2021 NCAA title in the 60 meters and holds the UO school record in the event with a time of 6.48.

Mays has a lifetime best of 7.09 in the 60 meters, which is the third-fastest in Oregon history, and she finished in third place at the NCAA Championships last year.

Both the 60 meters and the 60-meter hurdles will feature preliminaries and a final. The Ducks’ jumps and combined events groups will also be featured during Friday’s season opener.

Alysah Hickey, who holds the Oregon indoor school record in the long jump (6.66m/21-10.25) and qualified for the NCAA Championships last season, will be competing in the 60 meters, and NCAA Distance Medley Relay medalists Xavier Nairne and Katriina Wright will be running both the 60 and 200 meters.

Along with Oregon, the meet will also include Pac-12 rivals USC and the host Washington State.
