Several of the nation’s top collegiate sprinters will go head-to-head in the men’s 60m dash at the 2023 Texas Tech Open at the Sports Performance Center here in Lubbock, Texas, on Friday night and the following is the start list for the event. The winners of each heat, plus the top 5 times will advance to the final.

Among the featured athletes lining up in this 60m showdown are Micah Williams, Favour Ashe, and Matthew Boling. You can watch live streaming coverage of this race on ESPN+ with Live Results also available to those who are unable to watch the live video broadcast.

Leading collegiate men’s sprinter Micah Williams of Oregon will look to build on his season-opening time of 6.54 seconds at the 2023 Cougar Classic Invitational on Jan. 13, when he takes on a field that includes several runners –who on their day could run away with this title.

Williams is expected to be seriously challenged by Favour Ashe of Auburn who comes in with a season-best time of 6.57secs, along with Don’dre Swint of Texas Tech who enters this clash with a campaign-best time of 6.60secs.

Dynamic sprinter, Matthew Boling of Georgia is also on the start list for this race. Boling has a personal best of 6.56secs, but this will be his debut appearance in the 60m after opening his season with outings in the 300m and 400m in recent weeks.

Boling will take on Ashe in the same heat with David Dunlap of Northern Arizona in the same heat as Micah Williams and Grambling’s Dante Brown.
