Fort Wayne, Indiana – The 2023 Horizon League Indoor Track and Field Championships kicked off in Fort Wayne on Saturday, with Milwaukee leading the women’s standings with 80 points and Youngstown State leading the men’s competition with 97 points.
The 2023 Horizon League Indoor Track and Field Championships will conclude on Sunday, February 26. The continuation of the heptathlon will kick off the day’s events at 9 a.m. ET, followed by the high jump, triple jump, and shot put to conclude the field events starting at 9:15 a.m. ET.

In the women’s standings, Youngstown State (55) is currently in second place, followed by Purdue Fort Wayne (33) in third, IUPUI (18) in fourth, Oakland (13) in fifth, and Northern Kentucky and RMU tied for sixth with 11 points. Detroit Mercy (8) is in eighth place, with Wright State (5) in ninth and Cleveland State in tenth place.
On the men’s side, Milwaukee follows Youngstown State with 45 points, with Purdue Fort Wayne (14) in third, Oakland and Northern Kentucky tied for fourth with ten points, and IUPUI just outside the top five with seven points. Detroit Mercy and Wright State are tied for seventh with five points.
