Champs 2023 - National Stadium in Kingston

KINGSTON, Jamaica (March 30) – The Jamaica High School Boys’ and Girls’ Champs 2023 enters its third day on Thursday, March 30, at the National Stadium in Kingston, with an impressive list of competitions lined up. Day Two featured sprinters Bouwahjgie Nkrumie and Alana Reid, who set personal bests in the Class One 100-meter races. Nkrumie set the Class One boys’ 100m record with a time of 9.99secs, while Reid ran an impressive 10.92secs to win the Class Two girls’ title. Thursday’s events will start at 9:00 a.m. CT / 10:00 a.m. ET with the continuation of the Boys Open Decathlon, followed by the Class 1 Triple Jump at 9:03 a.m., and the Shot Put for Class 2 at 9:06 a.m. The morning session will also feature the Class 4 girls’ opening rounds of the 200m races at 9:20 a.m. The 4x100m relays are also scheduled for Day Three, with a total of twelve finals set for the day.
