The 2023 Drake Relays presented by Xtream powered by Mediacom will offer comprehensive coverage of the 113th edition of America’s Athletic Classic. CBS Sports Network will be broadcasting the event live from the Blue Oval on Saturday from 2-4 p.m., featuring Brent Stover, Shannon Rowbury, Lewis Johnson, and Brad Wells as the hosts. Watch live stream of the Men’s and Women’s Shot Put competion, which is expected to be very exciting on Wednesday night. World record holder Ryan Crouser and US record holder and world champion Chase Ealey headline the 2023 Drake Relays Shot Put field. The Combined Shot Put competition, which will see four teams of two athletes (one man and one woman) going head to head. Wednesday night’s schedule starts at 8:00 p.m. ET.

The two-hour coverage will include some of the marquee events, such as the invitational hurdle events, the invitational 800m and 1,500m, the first-ever NCAA Paralympic 100m national championship, and the university division 4×400-meter relays that often secure the prestigious Drake Relays cup. Additionally, the broadcast will showcase recaps of early action at the Drake Relays.

Blake Boldon, the Franklin P. Johnson Director of the Drake Relays, stated that “Having CBS Sports Network and its national audience is huge, not only for the Drake Relays, but our sport.

“While we’re proud of regularly selling out Drake Stadium, CBS Sports Network and our partners at USATF.tv and Runnerspace.com allow us to reach our fans who can’t make it to Drake Stadium and new audiences across the country.”

USATF.tv and Runnerspace.com will also stream more than 28 hours of action from the Blue Oval, starting with the heptathlon and decathlon action on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m.

RunnerSpace.com has been a broadcast partner of the Drake Relays since 2014, showing almost every historic moment at the Blue Oval during those eight years, with more to come in 2023.

The online broadcast will continue on Thursday at 10 a.m. with more multi-event action, high school field events, the Distance Carnival, and an elite field in the men’s and women’s hammer throw.

Friday features a full day of action on USATF.tv/Runnerspace.com starting at 8 a.m. with almost 14 hours of competition, including many of the preliminary events that will set the stage for nine hours of championship action on Saturday.

Fans can watch all events from the 28 hours of the USATF.tv/RunnerSpace.com broadcast on-demand, allowing them to experience the excitement of the Drake Relays at their convenience or re-experience the event away from the Blue Oval.
