The men’s elite race at the 2023 Generali Halbmarathon – Berlin Half Marathon features several talented runners, with Alex Kibet of Kenya leading the pack. Kibet boasts the fastest entry time, clocking in at an impressive 58:55. – Read More: How to the 2023 Schneider Electric Paris Marathon?
Among the other elite runners is Sabastian Sawe of Kenya, who has finished a half marathon in just 58:02, and Philemon Kiplimo, also from Kenya, who finished in 58:11. South Sudan’s distance runner, Dominic Lobalu, comes into the race with a personal best of 59:12.
In the women’s elite race, Tsigie Gebreselama of Ethiopia holds the fastest personal best of 1:05:46. However, Eilish McColgan of Great Britain is expected to put up a strong fight for the win. McColgan enters the race with a personal best of 1:06:26.
Other talented women in the race include Ludwina Chepngetich of Kenya, with a personal best of 1:07:30, Samantha Harrison of Great Britain, with a personal best of 1:08:12, and Yalemget Yaregal of Ethiopia, who has run a half marathon in 1:08:58.
