2023 ACC Outdoor Championships Points Standings

RALEIGH, NC, May 12 – The 2023 ACC Outdoor Championships kicked off at NC State’s Paul Derr Track on Thursday, with Duke and Virginia Tech emerging as the early frontrunners. After five scored events, Duke took the lead in the men’s standings with 31 points, while on the women’s side, Virginia Tech is leading the points standings with 42.5 points after four finals.

In the men’s team standings, the Blue Devils are followed by Virginia Tech with 24.5 points, North Carolina sits in third spot with 23.5 points, while Notre Dame and Virginia rounded out the top five with 20 and 18.5 points, respectively. Miami and Florida State ended the first day at sixth and seventh, respectively with 16 and 13 points.

On the women’s side, Virginia Tech leads the women’s points table standings after four scored events and is followed by NC State, which is in the second spot with 32.5 points. Syracuse and Virginia completed top five after the first day with 14 and 12.5 points, respectively. Miami managed to score a single point on Day One, while Florida State has yet to get on the board at the championships.
