Complete 2023 Kip Keino Classic Results (May 13)

The full 2023 Kip Keino Classic Results on May 13. Sha’Carri Richardson, Ferdinand Omanyala, Beatrice Chepkoech, and Mary Moraa were all winners on the day.

The following is the complete 2023 Kip Keino Classic results from the third meeting in the 2023 World Athletics Continental Tour Gold series, in Nairobi, Kenya, on Saturday (13). Several of the world’s top athletes, including home favorites Ferdinand Omanyala, Beatrice Chepkoech, and Mary Moraa, plus USA’s Sha’Carri Richardson.

Omanyala promised a new African record in the men’s 100 meters, but he was able to deliver on the promise. However, the Kenyan star sprinter dominated the event with a quick 9.84 seconds to beat USA’s Kenneth Bednarek (9.98).

Beatrice Chepkoech, and Mary Moraa were also among the Kenyan winners on the day. Chepkoech ran 9:13.51 to win the women’s 3000m Steeplechase title, while Moraa clocked 1:58.83 to dominate the women’s 800m.

In the field, Wojciech Nowicki (POL) won the men’s Hammer with 79.78m, Timothy Herman threw a Belgian record of 87.35m to beat Anderson Peters (GRN) with 85.72m in the men’s Javelin, while Janee’ Kassanavoid of USA took the women’s Hammer title with a mark of 74.25m.
