The 2023 NCAA East First Round meet will feature some of the nation’s best athletes from leading programs, including Auburn, Alabama, Butler, Clemson, Duke, Florida State, Georgetown, Harvard, Louisville, LSU, Miami (Fla.), Michigan, Ole Miss, Michigan State, NC State, Notre Dame, Villanova, Ohio State, Penn, Pittsburgh, Princeton, Penn State, Purdue, South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest, among others.

Wednesday’s schedule in Jacksonville is dedicated to men’s competition only and will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the Hammer Throw first round. Track competition gets underway at 6:00 p.m. with the Men’s 110-meter Hurdles heats, while the Men’s Shot Put and Men’s Long Jump will also take place simultaneously.

Thursday’s schedule will shift to the women’s program, starting at 10:00 a.m. with the first round of the Hammer Throw, followed by the women’s Javelin Throw first round at 1:30 p.m.

After a day’s rest, the men will return on Day 3 (Friday) for their quarterfinals. The women will close out the event on Day 4 (Saturday) with their quarterfinals and semifinal competitions.

The qualifiers from both the East and West First Round meets will move on to compete in the 2023 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships to be held June 7-10 in Austin, Tex.
