The 2023 Wanda Diamond League gets underway this Friday, 5 May, 2023, with some of the world’s biggest track and field stars descending on Qatar for the Seashore Group Doha Meeting. Watch the live stream here.
Ahead of the one-day meeting, several superstars will face the media at the pre-meeting press conference on Thursday, 4 May, and you can watch a live stream of the event.
Among the athletes set to participate at the Doha Diamond League meeting press conference include Olympic high jump champion and local favorite Mutaz Essa Barshim, Faith Kipyegon, the two-time Olympic champion, Wanda Diamond League champion Neeraj Chopra and world champion over 100m Fred Kerley.
The press conference will be live streamed on the Wanda Diamond League YouTube channel from 11.00 local time / 4:00 a.m. ET Thursday morning, and the athletes down the face the media are as follows:
- Mutaz Barshim (high jump, QAT)
- Katie Moon (pole vault, USA)
- Faith Kipyegon (1500m, KEN)
- Dina Asher-Smith (100m, GBR)
- Fred Kerley (200m, USA)
- Neeraj Chopra (javelin, IND)
