You can watch some of the world’s best throwers compete at the USATF Throws Festival today, Saturday, 20 May. The event, which takes place at the Roy P. Drachman Stadium and is being hosted by the University of Arizona, is available with a paid subscription via RunnerSpace +PLUS.
Several top American athletes will take on some top athletes from around the world in specialized throwing and jumping events this weekend. The action begins at 5:40 p.m. ET, and there are dedicated live streams, which you can see below.
The Tucson Elite Throws event will also take place today at the same venue, starting at 2:00 p.m. ET. There is no live streaming coverage of Tucson Elite Throws today, by you can follow the live results here.
Among the featured events on the schedule, today is the Women’s Hammer Throw, which will see world champion Brooke Andersen and Janee’ Kassanavoid, the bronze medalist behind her at Oregon22, plus Alyssa Wilson and Maggie Ewen. – Read more: Jamaica’s Blake to take on USA’s Lyles and Coleman at USATF Bermuda Grand Prix
The men’s Hammer Throw will see USA’s world championships sixth place finisher Rudy Winkler leading the field, while Fedrick Dacres of Jamaica and Samoan Alex Rose lead the men’s Discus entrants and 2017 world champion Tom Walsh leading the men’s Shot Put field, while 2019 world silver medalist Danniel Thomas-Dodd will compete in the women’s category.
The likes of Americans Vashti Cunningham and Erica Bougard will be in the women’s High Jump.
