These are the 17 title winners at the 2023 Kip Keino Classic held at the Moi International Sports Centre in Nairobi, Kenya, on Saturday (13). The meeting, which produced several world leads and meeting records was the 3rd stop in the 2023 World Athletics Continental Tour Gold series this season.
Seven of the 17 total winners on the day were Kenyan competitors, including Ferdinand Omanyala, who powered to 9.84 seconds (-0.5) to win the men’s 100 meter and Beatrice Chepkoech, who ran an impressive 9:13.51 to win the women’s steeplechase crown.
There were three winners from the United States, Twanisha Terry, who ran a wind-aided 10.86 (+2.5 m/s) to secure the women’s 100m, Sha’Carri Richardson with 22.07 for the 200m and Hammer Throw champion Janee’ Kassanavoid, who threw 74.25m.
