2023 Braves Country 5K results (June 10)

The top results from the 2023 Braves Country 5K races that took place in Atlanta, on Saturday, June 10, 2023. Garret Drogosch and Allison Mercer emerged as the champions of the individual races and below you will find the top 40 finishers from each event.

On the men’s side, Drogosch won with a time of 15:29, while becoming the only sub-16 minutes finisher on the day. The 32-year-old took advantage of relatively good conditions to claim the victory, beating Jack Strevell of Nolensville, TN, who ran 16:22 for second and Hisato Suetsugu of Peachtree Cty, who took place with a time of 16:24.

Meanwhile, Diego Romero, 16, ran 16:38 for a top five finish in 5th place, while Ryan Boggs and Richard Burgess, both 13-year-old, finished in the top 35 finishers. – Read Also: Recap and top results: 2023 World Mountain and Trail Running Championships

In the women’s contest, Allison Mercer secured the win with a time of 18:19, defeating last year’s winner Maria Fernanda Martinez, who had to settle for second place this time around with a time of 18:26.

Elizabeth Graves ran 18:59 for third place, followed by Ariel Ellis in fourth with a time of 19:17, while Emily Maass ended fifth with a time of 19:37.
