The 29th edition of the Bauhaus Junior Gala is one of the highest-level junior competitions outside of the World and European U20 Championships each year, and this meeting, which feature young athletes from around the world, provide a number of pathway opportunities for athletes, both individually and in the relays to showcase their skills on a world-class stage.
Host country Germany has assembled the biggest squad, with 188 athletes, including 97 women and 91 men, set to compete.
Among the other leading countries being represented at the Mannheim International meeting are Australia, Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Spain, Ukraine, and France, as well as Brazil, and South Africa.
