RATHDRUM, Idaho (June 16) – The Iron Wood Open/Invite results at the Iron Wood Throwers Center, Rathdrum, Idaho, on Thursday (15). Among the winners on the evening were Americans Darrell Hill and Erin Reese.

Erin Reese continued her impressive development this season in the women’s Hammer Throw event, launching the iconic ball to a remarkable distance of 71.59 meters in the fifth round, securing the victory. Reese demonstrated her consistency with throws of 71.18m and 71.16m throughout the competition.

Jamaica’s Nayoka Clunis claimed second place with a throw of 70.41 meters, while third place went to USA’s Rachel Tanczos, who achieved a distance of 69.60 meters.

In the men’s shot put, two-time world championship finalist Darrell Hill of the United States emerged victorious with a mark of 21.51 meters, marking a season best for him.
