How to watch the Trackwired Arkansas Grand Prix?; Taliyah Brooks, Ronnie Baker in action

The Trackwired Arkansas Grand Prix is set to take place at the John McDonnell Field in Fayetteville today, Friday, June 23. The schedule begins with field events at 1:00 p.m. ET.

A host of collegiate and professional athletes will be participating in the event as a final preparatory measure before they embark on international competitions next month. These competitions include national championships, which will determine the teams representing their respective countries at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary, in August.

Among the post-collegiate athletes slated to participate in the Trackwired Arkansas Grand Prix are Taliyah Brooks, who will compete in both the 100m hurdles and long jump, Talie Bonds in the 100m hurdles, Tara Davis-Woodhall in the long jump, Ronnie Baker in the men’s 100m, and Jamaica’s Shiann Salmon in the women’s 400m hurdles.

Roje Stona of Arkansas is one of the collegiate athletes scheduled to compete. He will participate in the men’s Discus Throw. Having already achieved the required 67 meters world championships qualifying standard for Budapest with his personal best of 68.64m, Stona will be aiming to exceed that mark today with another stellar performance ahead of his national trials.

His Arkansas teammate, Christopher Bailey, will compete in the men’s 400m, alongside James Benson II and Oklahoma’s Richard Johnson.
