The event took place over five days, from June 6th to 10th, and involved 68 participating countries, with a total of 1,290 athletes competing in Innsbruck and Stubai.

Kenya also had a strong showing, concluding the championship with a total of nine medals, including five gold medals, two silver medals, and two bronze medals. Great Britain secured three gold medals, two silver medals, and one bronze medal, while Uganda earned two gold medals and three silver medals. Switzerland finished with one gold medal, two silver medals, and three bronze medals to round out the top five.
The United States, on the other hand, secured only one gold medal through Grayson Murphy in the Up and Down Race, and also obtained one silver medal and two bronze medals, resulting in a total of four medals.
