Mattoni Olomouc Half Marathon 2023

Germany’s Sebastian Hendel and Belgium’s Hanne Verbruggen won the men’s and women’s Mattoni Olomouc Half Marathon 2023 titles, a World Athletics Label Road Race in the Czech Republic on Saturday, 18 June.

Hendel crossed the finish line at 1:03:55 to win the men’s race this weekend, picking up his first win this season from his three half marathon starts, while Sweden’s David Nilsson clocked 1:04:07 for the runner-up place and The Netherlands’ Khalid Choukoud taking third with 1:04:27.

Meanwhile, Hanne Verbruggen won the women’s Mattoni Olomouc Half Marathon 2023 title, stopping the clock at 1:12:44. Czech Republic’s Tereza Hrochová was the next across the finish line in second place at 1:13:33, followed by Viktoriia Kaliuzhna (Ukraine) at 1:13:35.
