The following is the order of event schedule and entry lists for Day 1 at the 2023 NACAC U18 and U23 Championships in San José, Costa Rica, on Friday, 21 July.
Day 1 schedule starts on the track at 8:30 a.m. local time in Costa Rica or 10:30 a.m. ET with the final of the 5,000m for U23 men, with the women’s category going off at 11:15 a.m. ET of 9:15 a.m. local time.

Next on the schedule will be the U23 men’s Decathlon, and the first event will start at 8:00 a.m. local time (11:00 a.m. ET), the same time as the U18 men’s Discus Throw (1.5 kg), while U23 women’s Pole Vault, featuring Hana Moll, and High Jump (exhibition), will start at 10:00 a..m. ET

The opening day will have two sessions with the 100m, 400m, 400m hurdles, and the 4x400m mixed relay races for both U18 and U23, all included on the first day’s order of event schedule.
