CLEVELAND, OH (July 25) — The following is start list for the Elite men’s race at The Guardian Mile 2023, which is a well competitive event and takes on the Hope Memorial Bridge in Cleveland, OH, on Saturday (29). The strong entry list is highlighted by two-time defending champion Johnny Gregorek, who is returning to defend his title this year.
Gregorek broke his own course record from the previous when he won last year’s race with a time of 3:46.67 to beat Sam Prakel, who will not be in attendance this year after scratching the race when the latest entry list was presented to World-Track.
The men’s elite field will also feature Eric Holt, who is coming off a strong 3:34.50 personal best on the track at the Under Armour Sunset Tour in Los Angeles, over the weekend, along with Matthew Centrowitz, Kenya’s Amon Kemboi and Australia’s Jack Antsey.
